Hi There,

I just wanted to tell you to keep your heads up and don't let anybody make you feel the slightest bit guilty about purchasing your little Tink. I too have a Frenchie, so I understand how important it is to protect this wonderful breed. But at the same time, I believe that there is a big difference between educating people and attacking people. If we as Frenchie lovers take the time to help people and not scare them away, we might actually do this breed some good. Tink's parents had nothing but loving intentions when they purchased her and created this site. They are asking for any help that we can give them, while sharing every precious moment that they have with their new puppy. This site can actually help a lot of people if the posts are informative and constructive. Who wants to visit yet another blog where people are attacking each other when they could be helping one another? Being supportive and helpful to them does not mean that you are necessarily condoning back yard breeding. It means that you want them as well as all of the other Frenchie owners reading these posts to be well informed about the proper way to care for this precious breed, along with how to go about finding a reputable breeder. I thank God for the breeders that weren't too high on their horses to give me kind advice when I was searching for my first Frenchie. Good luck with Tink. She's very fortunate to have such great parents who are willing to learn and share their experiences.

The awesome thing about all this is when the breeders have another litter, they wont need to advertise on the internet nor have a website. They are already establishing a reputable name in the frenchie community. In fact they probably would have been considered more reputable if we never posted any blogs about their litter and the the FBC breeder directory listing would've updated their site.

Sorry for stirring it up Mike.

I'm sorry... Do you know Mr Han? We had to delete some of his comments because he was being very mean and talk negatively about our french bulldog Tink. We only deleted the ones that were disrespectful to us, others or Tink.

All we want is Frenchie-raising advice. We really love Tink and appreciate how nice the breeders have been to us. Thanking them through our blog was just one of the ways we showed appreciation to them.

It seems like Mr Han is a popular guy in the frenchie community and he's a guy we prefer to gain knowledge from, not get ridiculed and criticized.

What made our breeders not so reputable? Is it because they just had their first litter and don't have a waiting list yet? Doesn't every breeder have to start somewhere? Is it because Boogey (Tink's dad) never showed, even though reputable breeders say he should?

Mr. Han has mentioned mean things about Tink and her health, before he could even do any kind of research on our breeders. Did they mess up because they advertised in the pennysaver? The dogs were registered in the AKC and the breeders could have easily added themselves to the "breeders with available akc puppies" classifieds.

I'm sorry for having so many questions. We're just really surprised so many people are so negative to us.

We even tried giving a shot out to paul for giving us great recommendations on our breeder page. But he still continues to be mean. A breeder that has showed in many shows bought Tink's sister. We registered our dog with no problems and got the 3 generation records. Our frenchie is good with full frenchie blood. What's the problem?

Thanks for your all this great info though. We are thinking about starting to take our dog to a brachycephalic vet out in spring valley. We called Turquoise Animal vet before we brought her in and the receptionist told us that they treated many frenchies, so we thought Turquoise would be a great place to take her (besides being close). I agree with you on the science-diet thing.

I just read about how much the hills company are involved with vet schools and doctors. We are already planning on switching to Avoderm or nutro max. Do you have a frenchie? What do you feed him or her? We are VERY open to suggestions.

*****IF YOU FEEL YOU MADE AN INFORMATIVE COMMENT AND NOTICED THAT IT HAS BEEN DELETED, PLEASE POST IT AGAIN. WE ARE HAVING SPAM ISSUES AND SOME COMMENTS ENDED UP DELETED WHILE BULK MODERATING*****

Taking your dog back to Dr. Butchko for shots and a check-up would have been best. The Vet at Turquoise is not a specialist in Brachycephalic types of breeds. The Hills Brand, (Science Diet) dog food is one of the worst, as the Vet gets a kick back from the manufacturer for selling out of his office. Science diet was one of the foods on the Massive recall recently as it was laced with poisen and killed countless dogs and cats.

Mr. Han never mentioned anything towards Tinks health. If you left the original reply's all other bloggers would be sounding off to this. just the improper method you chose to purchase him and he gave the right way to buy from a reputable breeder. You were ripped off, plain and simple and still blinded by someone specifying your breeder as a puppy mill promoter or a BYB in which they are, we know the truth, It's time for you to know it too. Wake-up.
