Sydney: the Little Cute Black Masked Frenchie
Yesterday, we took Tink & Chubs to Kate Session’s Park after Lisa got off work. It was their first time in a few weeks. They were soooo excited. Right when we got there, Tink ran straight to the closest dog to she if she could start something. As I caught up with her, I realized that the dog was thinking about messing with was another cute frenchie…
Here is Sydney,

Sydney is a 3 years old black-masked red french bulldog. She was so small. Tink weighs 21 lbs and Sydney was obviously smaller. She was the sweetest little dog. All she wanted to do was fetch her rubber ball or chillax next to her owner Marie, or even Lisa and I. She loves the back rub and gets to close to get a good picture of her. Everytime you ask her to look at the camera, she’ll come running up to you and thinks you just want to love her. I don’t blame here. She’s an incredibly cute dog with a very sweet (unlike Tink) personality.

I am picking up my very own first Frenchie on 04/10/09. She is a black faced, dk red baby girl, 5 months old. Our family has had boston terriers for 4 generations…We are convinced that Nutro dog food was responsible for the untimely deaths of both mine & my son’s Bostons. Both in march 2009. I am therefore paronoid as to what to feed my new baby girl…..please assure me & share what you feed yours?
We have been feeding our 2 Frenchie’s Natural Balance single protein dog food, they have many varieties, we use the fish and sweet potato, we mix the dry kibble with 2 tablespoons of the canned and they love it. We chose this because Frenchie’s are prone to allergies and they have done great on it. I have noticed that if we feed them treats with chicken or grains , they start to itch, so I bought the little dog treats by Natural Balance that have the fish and sweet potato, they love those too.
Why do you feel the Nutro dog food led to your dogs untimely death?
We fed our lab Nutro(lamb and rice) and he had horrible skin allergies. I wish I had known about the Natural Balance. It is pricey, but well worth it.
Send some pictures of your new baby, you are going to love her!!
Tink sounds just like her sister Bonnie, always looking to pick a fight with another dog, except her brother Clyde, she adores him. But, when it comes to other dogs, she is very aggressive, so we have been working on that. Since her and Tink have the same parents, I am thinking it is a trait they inherited perhaps? Clyde can be aggressive too, but when the other dog shows him who is boss, he will lay down and surrender, Bonnie won’t, she wants to chase and nip. We had them spayed and neutered recently and when they are all healed, they will start obedience class. That should be interesting!
