But its so hard not to give into him, he is so adorable just look at his cute face :)

I definitely understand what you mean about him thinking he is the alpa, both dogs actually sleep in bed with us, and whereas Tink will sleep at the foot of our bed, Chubs sleeps above our head on either my pillow or James’ pillow. Of course I think it is so cute and take it as Chubs’ way of being cute and cuddly but I also realize this is his way of establishing dominence and letting us know who the Alpha is.

Thanks Celeste for the trainer information we will definitely look into that hopefully they could help us because as cute as Chubs is I can’t deal with the smell of urine in our house any longer :)

Celeste here again. Seems like Chubs is a bit less biddable than Tink. I really think that taking puppy classes would be of benefit for you. I di some research of trainers in the San Diego area and I am quite impressed by Nan Arthur and Jessica Wheatcraft of Whole Dog Training. I live across the country, but, based upon what I reviewed, I really think you will be pleased with the return of your investment with this company. http://www.wholedogtraining.com/

One more thing, tell Lisa to not give in, I did that all the time, made him worse. But I sure did stop when I had to clean the poop or pee instead of my husband. Also, hes very smart and will see and take note of this to use against you or her in the future.

Boy do I agree females are better than males. We bought a male frenchie 4 months ago and had the hardest time getting him to listen. We went to trainers and they alerted us to how they want to be the Alpha dog (cause they are males) so they will defy you at all chances and pee & poop to break you down. Well let me tell you that all changed! We lessened the size of his crate (now he doesn\’t poop or pee cause he will do it on himself) and hes all good! I remember a trainer told me that hes a very stubborn dog, now I have to be just as stubborn. He listens well now and does what he is told, he is 8 months old. Don\’t get me wrong he has his days but he gets punished and he now prefers his crate to sleep in rather than the floor by us. Oh and don\’t leave toys we found out they just pee on them along with towels. Never leave food there, our dog could care less if he pooped next to food (strange but he does it to defy you, as if to say, you don\’t tell me where I eat or where i poop.)

He’s adorable. How can you stay mad at that face?? LOL.
I have a boy, and though he’s stubborn, he’s coming along just fine - 100% crate & potty trained @ 5 months. Keep at it and good luck!

That’s soo funny RHz. Frenchies are such Napoleons. They’re can definitely appear scary to other dogs that havn’t met a dog with so much charisma. I can imagine your frenchie chasing any dog. lol

I think my favorite picture is the last one, with all three of them pooped out on the floor. LOL.

Beautiful pups - all three.

My Sonic still does that bark and jump to get other dogs to play. I brought him to work with me the first three months we had him and some of the other folks I work with occasionally bring their dogs, too. One lady had a maltese mix puppy, about two weeks younger then Sonic. He was petrified of my crazy puppy and when he would run, Sonic would try to grab his tail and drag him back to play. ;-)
