Sydney: the Little Cute Black Masked Frenchie

Yesterday, we took Tink & Chubs to Kate Session’s Park after Lisa got off work. It was their first time in a few weeks. They were soooo excited. Right when we got there, Tink ran straight to the closest dog to she if she could start something. As I caught up with her, I realized that the dog was thinking about messing with was another cute frenchie…

Here is Sydney,

French Bulldog - Sydney Frenchie Sydney Frenchie Tink Friend Sydney

Sydney is a 3 years old black-masked red french bulldog. She was so small. Tink weighs 21 lbs and Sydney was obviously smaller. She was the sweetest little dog. All she wanted to do was fetch her rubber ball or chillax next to her owner Marie, or even Lisa and I. She loves the back rub and gets to close to get a  good picture of her. Everytime you ask her to look at the camera, she’ll come running up to you and thinks you just want to love her. I don’t blame here. She’s an incredibly cute dog with a very sweet (unlike Tink) personality.

Chubby Bunnies/Frenchies

We came across an Easter Pets photo contest on Martha Stewarts website and we just had enter. The contest was to take a photo of your pet as funny bunny or in its Easter best and enter to win. While shopping at Longs Lisa found the cutest bunny ears so we decided to incorporate a photo shoot into our afternoon dog park adventure. It was so much fun and the pictures came out so cute that we decided to post some of them on our website. If you get a chance please go visit our pictures and give them a vote or just browse through all the other cute easter pets.

Gotta Love Crazy Min-Pins

So my sister just got a Miniature Pincher puppy. This dog is by far the most annoying dog I’ve even seen. This little dog is so cocky, feisty, loud, crazy and worst of all, untrained. This dog doesn’t walk, it hops. It doesn’t growl, it screams. It doesn’t wrestle, it destroys. The dog’s name is Missie.I wonder if I gave my sister the idea to get a pincher, because beside the frenchie, the mini pin was always one of my favorites.

Back to Missie. Missie likes to prance around Chubs and grab his ears. Chubbas is the nicest most playful dog. He loves it. Every time Missie comes over, he’s excited. They chase each other around the house and can play long past when Chubs has had enough. Missie can out last Chubs 5 times. Once Chubs has enough, you can tell. But Missie doesn’t care. She just rolls him over and jumps around all over him biting his face with her needle sharp teeth while growling/screaming at the top of her lungs. Chubs doesn’t mind because he loves Missie and he knows sooner or later she’ll be tired too.

Bite Hands

Chubs is such a joyful playful little dog. At least 5 times a day Chubs will initiate play with James by jumping up at him  barking and trying to bite James’ hands. All James has to do is give Chubs a look and the games begin.  Tink likes to  play fetch and chubs plays a game we like to call “bite hands”. The funny thing is Chubs only plays this game with James (Thank God) and has never bit my hand. In this picture Chubs is propping himself up on a stoole and barking at James who is on  the other side.

Mr. and Mrs. Frenchie Clause

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house two frenchies were running as if chasing a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that rawhide candy canes soon would be there. The frenchies were nestled all snug in their suits the only thing missing were some big red bright boots.

We hope you enjoyed your holidays I know we sure did!

Playing Dress Up

Our little frenchies love to play dress up. Tink gets so happy when we put clothes on her she struts around like she is a little princess. I think really she loves all the extra attention we give her in the cute clothes but nonetheless she is always more than happy to slip on a cute dress, shirt, or tank top. It is so easy to dress Tink and chubs because for some reason they don’t mind us slipping clothes over their heads and through their arms. It is so adorable how they almost help rather than hinder the getting dressed process. Since it has been hot outside we have not put clothes on them for a long period of time but here is a little fashion show.

My Frenchie Doesn’t Want to Play with Me

I know why my Frenchie doesn’t want to cuddle with me. I play with her too much…

This is a video of Tink after playing with her for almost an hour straight. She stopped out of no where an decided that SHE was done playing.

Well, isn’t that cute… But, it’s wrong.

I’ve been reading that WE (humans, owners, alphas) decide when play time is over and when it starts. Play with them as long as needed. But, stop playing with them before they get bored and when it’s obvious they still want to play.

Make it a privilege to play with you, not a right!
