Frenchie Tink

On hot days Chubs likes to lay flat on the kitchen tiile to cool off his belly. Once he has laid in one spot long enough and it gets warm he moves over to another spot and lays down again. When we pick him up after laying on the tile his belly is cold its the funniest thing. Heres are some pictures of chubs laying out after a long day at the park and by long day for French Bulldogs I mean twenty minutes.

Today we went for a walk with the pups and stopped by Turquoise Animal Hospital to get Tink and Chub’s nails clipped. We also decided to get Tink’s anal glads secreted, lately Tink has been scooting on her butt which is a sign that her anal glands are swollen and need to be drained. When we stopped in the vet asked if we were going to stay for he puppy training course. We asked how much it cost because although our dogs need training we decided to find the best trainer for the most reasonable price. To our surprise the training course was absolutely FREE. We decided to stay and we learned so much. First we learned how to walk with our dogs and make sure we are in control. We were taught to say “heel” every time we turned or stopped to  signal the dog to turn or stop according to our motion. Then we learned how to make a dog come when you call. The trainer had a super long leash that he tied to the dog and used to reel the dog in like a fish when he called it. Lastly we learned how to stop our dogs from jumping on people unless they are welcomed to. According to the trainer unless a dogs name is called they should not be jumping on anyone. Overall it was a great learning experience and we will definitely be going back next week for another free class. 

Tink’s parents recently introduced a new family of french bulldog puppies to the world, on October 4th Mya gave birth to 6 beautiful French Bulldogs. Since we are so proud of Tink and she brightens our lives everyday, we wanted to share the opportunity to get one of Tink’s siblings with all of our visitors. French Bulldog Puppies for Sale

Whenever I get home from soccer our little frenchies cant wait to run up to me and lick the salt of my legs and body its one of the rare times Chubs lets me hold him for longer than 2 minutes without squirming away. This picture was just too cute not to share Chubs looks like he is having the time of his life.

Our little frenchies love to play dress up. Tink gets so happy when we put clothes on her she struts around like she is a little princess. I think really she loves all the extra attention we give her in the cute clothes but nonetheless she is always more than happy to slip on a cute dress, shirt, or tank top. It is so easy to dress Tink and chubs because for some reason they don’t mind us slipping clothes over their heads and through their arms. It is so adorable how they almost help rather than hinder the getting dressed process. Since it has been hot outside we have not put clothes on them for a long period of time but here is a little fashion show.

Every night  about 20 minutes after I go to bed to lie down I hear little footsteps coming into my bedroom I look down and there’s Chubs patiently looking up at me waiting for me to pick him up and put him in bed. Usually James is still in the other room working so Chubs will take over James’ whole side of the bed and sprawl out like he is a little person. Sometimes he even props his head up on the pillow and falls asleep. It is quite possibly the cutest thing in the world.

Last Friday I took Tink and Chubs to James’ parent’s preschool “Little Lamb Land”. His mom was ecstatic about having all the children meet Tink and Chubs and the kids were just as ecstatic. We arrived to the preschool at 8:30am, both dogs were so excited to be in the car going somewhere, little did they know when we got out of the car they were about to get the most attention they have ever received in their entire lives. We were greeted by 40 children ages 3-5 and they instantly fell in love with Tink and Chubs. The children were chasing the dogs all over the playground having a blast. At 9:30am we went into the classroom and all the kids got to formally meet Tink and Chubs and tell us about their own dogs at home and ask questions. Overall it was such a fun day and I wish i would have taken millions of pictures but lets just say I had my hands full…
